01. Reply speeds will vary; I’m old and busy with my stupid-ass real career. However, feel free to ask for my discord to chat.02. I don’t agree with Feanor’s opinions; I think most Silm characters are morally gray, and Feanor is one of the most complicated and tragic. She can be quite awful.03. I tend to treat each thread as its own pocket universe unless our characters have a continuity or we’ve pre-established a specific AU.
04. Open to crossovers, duplicates, AUs, and pre-plotted arcs–but I will want to fully understand who our characters are in the adjusted setting. just send me a message to plot.05. All nsfw content will get the tag #nsfvalar (I expect most of this to be violence lmao). I won’t be tagging cursing as nsfw.06. Open to shipping, but good fucking luck. I mean, it’s Feanor, so. You know.07. If you send me an ask from a character who doesn't share a time period with Fëanárë, I'm going to assume this is in a "Fëanárë dies later" AU where she's made it to your muse's native time period.

Tall, fit, curly black hair, gray-brown eyes with typical Calaquendi luminance. Very typical Noldor features. “‘Fair shall the end be,’ she cried, ‘though long and hard shall be the road! Say farewell to bondage! But say farewell also to ease! Say farewell to the weak! Say farewell to your treasures! More still shall we make. Journey light: but bring with you your swords! For we will go further than Orome, endure longer than Tulkas: we will never turn back from pursuit. After Morgoth to the ends of the Earth! War shall he have and hatred undying. But when we have conquered and have regained the Silmarils, then we and we alone shall be lords of the unsullied Light, and masters of the bliss and beauty of Arda. No other race shall oust us!’”

What's wrong with Feanor, you ask? Start here. Innovator in the fields of dying in the undying lands and post-partum depression.

The only one who can put a stop to the madness. Might be the only wise member of the family. Invented divorce.

Easy to embarrass, easy to provoke to rage, and might be smarter than any of them in his chosen field.

Much beloved, which can be a double-edged blade. The loss of Miriel made them closer, but also more damaged, than the average parent and child.

Beautiful baby boy with a name that doubles as a blatant attempt to strongarm Finwë and all of the Noldor into absolute primogeniture.

Half brother in blood, quarter brother in heart at best. The irrational target of every anxiety, grief, and frustration.

Canon Silmarillion arc, but Fëanáro is female and named Fëanárë. In this setting, Fëanárë bears all seven of her children. Her insecurities are shifted and partially based on gender perception among the Ñoldor, but the vast majority of her traits, flaws, accomplishments, elements of her downfall, enemies and allies are exactly the same. (Nerdanel and the kids might be any gender in this verse; if you play one of them, I will adjust RP to match what you play.)

Third Age.
Fëanor gets a special pass to re-embody to show up to the Council of Elrond. After studying the One Ring, she is incandescent with rage: she's skilled enough to unmake it, but if she touches it, it will corrupt her before she can complete the process. Frodo and Sam still have to take on the burden. Fëanor instead has to fuck up every other event of the War of the Ring.(The ring corrupts in proportion to the strength of the user, so unfortunately, if she touches it for 0.01 seconds, she will invent nuclear bombs.)(Please, please, please RP this with me. Let Feanor call the Elessar "derivative lesser work, an embarrassment on Tyelpë's part," tell Frodo his Quenya is excellent, argue with Bilbo about riddles, constantly correct everyone who says "Sauron" to "Þauron," tell Elrond he's reforging Narsil wrong, scare the shit out of Maglor-in-hiding, call Elrond and every Dunedain and Steward "wretched spawn of Ñolofinwë," roast Glorfindel for dying to a single Balrog, loudly say "that wasn't invented yet" to half the items in Eärendil's outfit in Bilbo's song, and show up in Lothlorien like the ghost of unfriends past.)

First Age.
Fëanor doesn't invent the Leeroy Jenkins maneuver in Endorë. Injured during Dagor-nuin-Giliath. After the arrival of the remaining exiles over the Helcaraxë and the rescue of Maedhros, the kingship does actually pass to Fingolfin - but the rivalry sleeps, it does not die. No time to threaten a half-brother when Morgoth lives and holds the silmarils. She coordinates her sons, producing arms at scale and pursuing a far more aggressive strategy than Maedhros would. Frequently micromanages the March of Maedhros, bothers the shit out of her half-nephews in Dorthonion and Hithlum by trying to micromanage their lands as well, and pushes into Dor Daedeloth in an attempt to provoke Morgoth. Probably dies in a different stupid way, later. This AU exists because I want to interact with first age characters.

Fourth Age.
This Fëanor is very different. What happens to a character who contains the best and worst of their people when they are allowed the time to repent? Let's find out. Fëanor is available for your muses to yell at, go to therapy with, silently camp with, learn from, argue with, or hit on.

In the real world.
I’m happy to play this, but I don’t have a single setup for real-world or modern Fëanor. Message me to discuss! I strongly prefer historical or unusual settings, not things like coffee shop AUs, but try me. We can also go with Tolkien's original idea that Middle-Earth was the distant past of the real world.

Second Age.
What if Adar was Fëanor? Would that be fucked up or what? (Would Fëanárë be called Emel? Asking the important questions.)

The third son of Olwë, a devotee of Ulmo who travels to Beleriand early in the First Age and sticks around in Middle-Earth until Fourth Age.
